Some things that put the !!! in my week:
Spending time with these two delicious people:

And despite her warnings otherwise, I was not sorry that I inhaled.

The clearest view of this bridge I've ever been treated to while visiting--plus, it hit 80 degrees on a day in June--inconceivable!

A long talk and walk through the ferry building, sampling amazing cheese and bread and chocolate, and finding the perfect accessories for my Snarkalicious self.

Arriving home to this on our bed, proof positive that we were missed.

Discovering that Miss D. has scheduled her summer time with the precision of Julie from the Love Boat.

And that she's assigning herself homework, too. Oh wait. She's assigning the 4-year old homework. Maybe not so cute.

What made you !!! this week?
Oh glorious glorious San Fran! You walked through one of my favorite buildings on earth! Miss D's summer plans are hilarious. She looks like she is having a lot of fun already! This week my !!! was having my parents pull into my driveway after years of scheming to get them to live here.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to report that Miss D is a young woman after my own heart. I would so make this list!!
ReplyDeleteYay for !!! and for snuggling with babies that aren't yours.

CK + Miss D = LUV (and lots and lots of to-dos.)
ReplyDeleteAnd that ButterBaby? 100% !!!
That's quite a sophisticated research plan that Miss D. has laid out!
ReplyDeleteOh, and when you included the word "inconceivable"--I had the voice of that guy from The Princess Bride in my head.
My !!! is packing for Hawaii!
This is too much, Kitchie. Lurv it.
ReplyDeleteHey you were in my neck of the woods! You picked a great few days to visit too.
ReplyDeleteI think the best thing in the world is to have a kissable baby in your arms and to be able to give it back. All the pluses with none of the work!
Oooh, assigning your little sister homework? Genius! Why didn't I think of that as a kid??
ReplyDeleteYou must have had such fun with your friend! Good for you....you should do it more often. A break is often a sanity-saver!
ReplyDeleteLove Miss D's lists...in color, yet, even the one for her little sister. Good luck with that.
Cheese in the Ferry Building? Say no more. Just conjuring the memory of it is enough of a !!! moment for me.
ReplyDeleteI am also swooning over Miss D's list. My favorite? "Snak the pack." Don't know what it means, but it sounds like all kinds of awesome.
xo
Oooh...I'd inhale too!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that she has a hypothesis. You've got a future engineer on your hands! :)
ReplyDeletemmm- things are always better with bread, cheese, and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteButter is adorable and I know you gals must have had an incredible time in one of my favorite cities!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I would inhale all that I could from that sweet little pumpkin!
I am loving this !!!
Ahhh! You were in San Francisco. The new baby is so adorable, she looks like a baby doll. I hope you enjoyed the Ferry Building, it's my favorite place in San Francisco.
ReplyDelete!!! I try to inhale my sweet little babies all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love your !!!
My !!! is enjoying the World Cup--we're having a party on Sunday to watch Italy v New Zealand and then Brazil v Cote d'Ivoire--and tucking into a big bowl of pasta e fagioli last night for dinner.
ReplyDeleteMiss D. is a girl after my own heart. I loved to play school every summer.
Oh my gosh!!! Each of these photos is better than the last. I LOVE the shirts you bought. And I LOVE the homework on the white board. So precocious and organized and funny all at once.
ReplyDeleteThat bitter shirt is awesome...and Miss D? I think she and I would be great friends.
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows smelling babies is the second most common way to have one. I think we all know what the first one is.
